How To Discipline Pets

Hey everyone,

My cat Tabby is a good cat but she does do things that are not ideal. My mom made a tree with lights from a decor shop and because tabby bear wanted to chew stuff and climb stuff she had ruined the delicate feature and it looks pathetic now, it might as well be chucked out. So when she annoys me I scold and say "stop it" which she usually doesn't mind, but today was more cross than usual, because I noticed that the lounge was getting more ruined then usual and that she was very hyperactive so I scolded her with a harsh tone and then she got scared of me. I don't know why because its not as if I smacked her or anything. I just wanted her to understand that she mustn't go near the tree thing. So anyway, we are back on good terms but now should be disciple cats? Dog owners have Ceasar Millan but cat owners have no one to help. So if anyone has a solution please let me know.

Sandbox Issues

Hello Everybody,

I am very confused about which type of cat litter to use. Tabby Bear is a good cat but her box is throwing up a lot of dust and she seems more and more reluctant to visit it even though it gets cleaned almost daily. At the moment her litter is a mixture of salt crystals and clumping litter, I am trying to gradually change to salt crystas. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Cat, Meet Pot Plant

Hi everyone,

I wonder if I'm the only one out there who seems clueless when it comes to pets. I have a black and white cat named Tabatha, and a lot of the time I don't really understand what she is doing. For ages before I got the cat I had been trying to make my pot plant grow. Its a cyclamen, a delicate type of white flower that needs very special conditions to grow in. It is a very temperamental plant. And just when it was beginning to grow properly, my cat was also beginning to gain confidence and walk around the house. And there she goes, into the pot plant, and trashes it by jumping on it.
